Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Part-Time Medical Front Desk Assistant to join their client's team in California. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, friendly, and eager to contribute to a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Pay ranges from $20-$25/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for medical staff.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Verify patient insurance information and process necessary paperwork.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operation of the front desk.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all information is accurately recorded.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Word, Excel, and medical software systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday, part-time between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm, 24-32 hours per week
